What is “Dining in Shenzhen”?
Hosted by the Shenzhen International Communication Association, “Dining in Shenzhen” is the second of the “Go! Shenzhen” series, which is aimed to help expats know more about the city.
It is inviting expats living in Shenzhen to dine at their favorite Chinese restaurants and share the dining experiences on overseas social media platforms.
The most popular posts will win. There will be one first prize winner with a cash award of 3,000 yuan, four second prize winners with cash awards of 2,000 yuan and five third prize winners with cash awards of 1,000 yuan.
How to sign up?
Registration starts from Oct. 22 and runs through Oct. 28. To sign up, please send an email to hvmedia@163.com with your personal information, including name, gender, age, profile and contact
A total of 20 participants will be selected from those who sign up, and the list of participants will be confirmed on Oct. 28.
Each participant will get a 500-yuan dining subsidy. The money can be claimed after you finish posting the dining experience on social media platforms.

What should I do?
From Oct. 28 to Nov. 10, the participants should visit their favorite Chinese restaurant in Shenzhen and post the dining experience at the restaurant in the form of photos, texts and Vlogs on any of the following overseas social platforms, including Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with the hashtag “Dining in Shenzhen”.
Don’t forget that the most popular posts will win, so try to get as many likes as you can.
When will I get the results?
The organizer will base its decisions on how many platforms a participant shares their post and how many views and likes their post gets to decide the final winners and make a list of the most popular restaurants among expats in Shenzhen.
An award ceremony will be held Nov. 28 to announce the results and the restaurant list. Winners will also be invited to share their food stories.
“GO!深圳”是由深圳市对外文化交流协会主办，深圳出版集团弘文传媒公司、Shenzhen Daily承办的系列外宣品牌活动，旨在使在深外国友人更好地发现深圳、融入深圳、爱上深圳、传播深圳，并搭建深圳与世界沟通的桥梁。“食在深圳乐生活”为系列第二场，将邀请在深外国友人打卡自己心目中的深圳美食，以图文、Vlog形式记录呈现并发布在外网社交平台，最终集赞票选最受外国友人欢迎的深圳餐厅及美食餐品。在各平台分享获得最高人气的10位活动参与者将获得奖金，产生一等奖1名，奖金三千元；二等奖4名，奖金两千元；三等奖5名，奖金一千元。
活动分为三个阶段。
嘉宾招募：10月22日-10月28日
线上发起嘉宾征集，有偿招募在深圳居住的外国友人，经过初步筛选，于10月28日确定20位入选者名单（入选名单的活动参与者可获得500元美食经费，在相关平台发布图文、Vlog后即可领取）。
美食打卡及拉票：10月28日-11月10日
入选外国友人可打卡一家自己最喜爱的深圳中餐厅，以图片、文字、Vlog等形式记录，添加“食在深圳乐生活”标签发布在Tiktok、Youtube、Facebook、Twitter、Instagram等外网社交平台，并为自己拉票集赞。拉票集赞截止至11月10日。
颁奖及分享：11月28日
承办方凭发布平台数量、阅读量及点赞数计算产生“最受外国友人欢迎的深圳美食”榜单，于11月28日在第三届深圳书展活动现场，“GO！深圳”系列活动总结分享会正式发布，向获奖者颁奖，并由获奖者分享自己与美食间的互动故事。
