According to the plan, the New Bay Community will continue to optimize and beautify the cultural landscape of the fishing port. It aims to leverage the iconic features of the New Bay small boat pier to promote cultural revitalization. Simultaneously, there will be plans to develop leisure fisheries, tourism and dining facilities, as well as experiences related to local fishing culture. The goal is to transform New Bay Fishing Port into a new tourism landmark for Humen Town and even Dongguan, attracting more visitors and boosting consumption. This, in turn, will stimulate the sales of fishing products, create employment opportunities for fishermen, and drive the economic development of the fishing port.

按照规划，新湾社区将继续优化、美化渔港人文景观，利用新湾小艇码头标志性特色景观推动文化振兴。同时还将规划建设休闲渔业、观光餐饮、疍家文化体验等，力争将新湾渔港打造成虎门镇乃至东莞的一张旅游新名片，吸引更多人流前来消费，从而促进渔获销售、渔民就业，推动渔港经济发展。
