The high-end New Oriental Express brand train launched a brand-new formation mode in 2025, which includes the Gold & Silver Diamond Formation and the Blue Diamond Formation. Specifically:

• Luxury 4-Person      Compartment (2 units): Upper bunks can be folded away for 2 people to      enjoy a 4-bed space, shared bathroom (with shower).

Blue Diamond Carriages:

• Quantity: 10      carriages (subject to adjustment based on formation).

• Configuration:      Each carriage has 7 compartments, each accommodating 2–4 passengers.

• Highlights: Shared      restroom, shower room, and refrigerator in the carriage. Extra-wide lower      bunks (0.9m × 1.95m) and upper bunks (0.7m × 1.82m) for comfort, with      dampers for folding the upper bunks flush against the wall. The train offers a fine-dining experience with a professional chef team serving six dishes and one soup at dinner, along with daily-changing specialty meals such as Burqin cold-water fish feast, Yili roast whole lamb, and Taxkorgan yak hotpot. The entertainment carriage includes a bar, KTV, piano performances, and cultural lectures.
