Last Saturday, an exciting English debate event took place at Link International Information Industry Park in Dongguan! Proudly sponsored by JACK's Education and Whyhub, the event brought together passionate English learners, educators, and debate enthusiasts.
The debate topic?
“Is the increasing popularity of online learning for adults a good thing or a bad thing?”
With sharp arguments from both sides, participants tackled issues such as:
Diversity vs. uniformity
Accessibility vs. fairness
Localization vs. globalization
The room buzzed with energy as debaters presented strong viewpoints, the audience raised colorful flags to vote, and judges shared thoughtful feedback.
Highlights included:
Engaging speeches and animated discussions
Active audience participation
Warm moments of networking and photo-taking
A big group photo that captured the day’s shared joy and spirit
Huge thanks to JACK's Education and Whyhub for making this event possible. And to everyone who joined us — thank you for bringing your voice, your thoughts, and your passion.
Education goes beyond the classroom, and language is more than just words. We look forward to seeing you at the next event!
